Small acts, lasting impact
Through the generosity of our students and families, Quiet Waters Montessori Academy participates in community giving campaigns throughout the year. These moments teach children that they have the power to make the world a little brighter — and that every contribution counts.
RVH Toy Drive
Each winter, Quiet Waters Montessori Academy participates in the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) Toy Drive — a beloved Barrie-area tradition that brings joy to children spending the holidays in hospital.
Families are invited to donate new, unwrapped toys which are collected at our school and delivered to RVH. For many of our children, this is a meaningful early lesson in empathy and generosity — understanding that a small gift from them can light up the day of another child nearby.
We are grateful to every family who participates. Year after year, the Quiet Waters community shows up with open hearts.

Innisfil Food Bank
Food insecurity touches families in every community — including ours. Throughout the school year, Quiet Waters Montessori Academy organises food donation drives in support of the Innisfil Food Bank, which serves neighbours right here in our town.
Students and families bring non-perishable food items to school, learning in a hands-on way that community care is something we practise every day — not just at special times of year.
The Innisfil Food Bank relies on the generosity of local donors to keep shelves stocked. We're proud to play a small part in making that happen.
